Q: Do you accept any insurance plans?
A: I am able to accept most major insurance plans through my partnership with MilkGuide. To check your eligibility, please fill out my contact form and I can send you the forms.
Q: What areas of Charlotte do you service?
A: I will provide in home support to anyone within about 30 minutes of my home in Mooresville. This typically includes Northern Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Troutman, Statesville, China Grove, Concord, Terrell, etc. If any family is outside of this range, I am still always willing to provide in home support for an additional travel fee or virtual support for no additional fee.
Q: Do you provide sliding scale or discounted services for low income families?
The Boobtique Village believes that every moms deserves access to quality prenatal and postnatal support regardless of their ability to pay. We offer a 30% discount on all services to families who receive government assistance such as Medicaid or SNAP. However, sometimes that's still too much. Q: Can I have a copy of the visit to take to my baby’s pediatrician?
A: I chart every encounter using a HIPPA compliant system called Practice Better. Once you register for an account, you will have access to all of the information charted from our visit(s). You’re welcome to download, print, or share that information with whomever you would like. I can also fax basic information about our visit your chosen provider if you’d like.
Q: I’m really interested in connecting with other expectant families. Do you offer in-person group classes?
A: I do! I think building community is such an important component of parenting support. Having your “village” can really help decreased the risk of postpartum depression and anxiety. I frequently hold group classes in Mooresville and would love to help you make connections with other local families! You insurance benefit may even cover the cost!
Q: If my insurance is eligible for lactation support, what will they cover?
A: If your insurance coverage is approved through MilkGuide, you will receive a detailed email explaining what your individual insurance plan will allow. You can then use that allotment however best suits your individual needs- group classes, private classes, one- on- one visits…
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A:
As a mom of 4 and nurse I completely understand that things can pop up last minute, plans can change, people get sick, etc. I’m very understanding and always open to being flexible. But to be respectful of both your time and mine The Boobtique’s & MilkGuide’s cancellation policy is as follows:
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment. By scheduling an appointment with us, we have specially blocked off that time on our calendar for you and many times that requires us arranging for and committing to child care during that time.
Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time will incur a cancellation fee. You may reschedule your appointment up to 12 hours before your appointment without penalty. No shows will incur a late cancellation fee.
Late cancellation fee = $50
Late reschedule fee = $40
We may consider sickness as an exclusion to the cancellation policy on a case by case basis. We will also take consideration of any family emergencies.
